This is the ORIGINAL Grouchy Site! Sorry but I’ve managed to lose all the photos that were on this page. My new version of publisher really bloody annoyingly doesn't support my old site so as I’ve had to edit this page it looks absolutely crap!! Anyway, hopefully I’ll get it sorted soon. The Geilenkirchen Campaign had to be put on hold for serious personal reasons but we’re hoping to get it off the ground again this year sometime.  Anyway, have a quick look around, the links to the other pages should still work (fingers crossed), then...

The Club

We’re all getting older—responsibilities, pressures of work, families etc etc which means we have reluctantly from April 2007 decided to call a halt to our Wednesday club nights. We will however still meet occasionally for a big Saturday battle.

Our Games?

Games so far this club year have included, ancient DBA, WW1 (East Africa), English Civil War, Seven Years War, AWI, American Civil War, French Revolutionary Wars, Napoleonic War, WW2 North West Europe and late Eastern Front, and even the Iran-Iraq War of the 1980's.

 

Prussian infantry launch their attack against the Graner-Koppe defended by Austrian grenadiers and a battery of heavy guns. (Battle of Soor, 30th September 1745) Figures mostly Essex.

It costs?

Membership costs £20 per year but not really sure if we will continue to have members as such.
